Label Application: Instructions for Securely Labeling Your Golf Equipment
Thank you for choosing FINDMYCLUBS. To optimally label and personalize your golf equipment, and also ensure the best possible protection against loss, please note the following label placement instructions:
1. Applying the Small Labels (for Golf Clubs)
The small-format FINDMYCLUBS labels are designed specifically for your golf clubs.
Please apply them as follows:
- Position: Preferably on the shaft of the club, directly below the grip.
- Orientation: The label should be applied in portrait orientation so that the QR code can be easily scanned with a smartphone camera.
- Preparation: Thoroughly clean and dry the intended surface before applying the label.
- Tip: To optimize adhesion, avoid applying it to grooved or textured areas of the shaft.
2. Applying the Large Labels (for Trolley and Bag)
The large-format labels are ideal for highly visible areas of your other equipment:
- Trolley: Apply the label to a smooth, easily visible surface – e.g., on the frame near the handle or on the axle where the motor is located (for electric drive).
- Golf Bag: Position the label, for example, on an outer surface of the bag or on the top edge, which will remain clearly visible when parked.
- Preparation: Here too, the surface should be grease-free, dry, and clean before applying.
Important Note:
Scan a label with a QR code and register for free at www.findmyclubs.eu. Also, enter the information about your equipment. Make sure all codes are activated and your contact details are up to date.
You can set whether you want to be contacted directly (e.g., by a finder) or just receive a message to your email address.
If the item is lost, honest finders can simply scan the QR code and, if you choose to show contact information, contact you directly. You can also remain anonymous. You don’t have to disclose any personal information.
